Policy
MCR Braids Subscription Policy
At MCR Braids, we aim to provide a seamless experience for our valued clients. Please carefully read and understand our subscription policy before enrolling in a membership.
Subscription Overview
By agreeing to our policy you are committing to a 12 month membership with MCR Braids.
Standard Membership: £55/month for 3 SMedium appointments to use within 12 months.
Plus Membership : £75/month for 4 SMedium appointments to use within 12 months.
Pro Membership : £105/month for 6 SMedium appointments to use within 12 months.
Add-ons: Services such as Goddess Curls (£10) and French Curls (£35) are excluded and must be paid for in full at checkout.
Usage: Appointments are valid only for SMedium Knotless Braids. If you choose to use your slot on Medium Knotless Braids, the monthly fee remains the same. Small Knotless Braids are not included in any subscription plan.
Payment Terms
Payments are collected monthly via continuous payment (long card details required, not sort code and account).
Subscriptions require a minimum 12-month commitment and will continue on a rolling basis unless cancelled.
Missed or stopped payments will result in the suspension of your subscription, and appointments already used under the plan will be charged at full price (£250 per appointment). Failure to resolve payment issues within 30 days may result in a permanent ban from booking future services.
Appointment Booking
Members receive priority access to our full 2025 calendar upon enrolling
Appointments should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance of your appointment date to ensure availability and allow us to order hair and product in good time
Missed appointments without 48 hours notice will be counted as used.
Appointment Rollover
Unused appointments cannot be rolled over after the subscription year. Any unused appointments will be forfeited when the subscription renews. We’d recommend gifting any unused appointments to a friend or family member
Cancellations and Refunds
Cancelling with Used Appointments: If you wish to cancel and have already used appointments, you must pay the full remaining amount of your plan equivalent to the appointments you have already used. For example, if you’ve used one appointment but only paid for two months, you’ll be charged the difference.
Cancelling with No Appointments Used: If you wish to cancel without using any appointments, we cannot issue refunds. This is because we have allocated time in the year specifically for you, and you paid to reserve those dates in advance. Instead, you can book an appointment(s) equivalent to the amount you paid or pay the difference. Due to cancellation, the said appointment will be charged at full price
Plan Changes
Upgrades: You may upgrade, costs will be prorated accordingly. This is subject to availability of the spaces on this membership
Downgrades: These are only allowed at the end of the subscription year.
Non-Subscriber Appointments
Non-members may book appointments at standard prices, subject to availability.
Free Gift for Loyal Members
To thank you for your commitment, subscribers who stay on their plan for the full year will receive an exclusive free gift, tailored to enhance their hair care experience.
Missed Payments and Non-Payment Policy
If a payment fails, we will notify you and attempt to collect the payment again within 3–5 business days.
After two failed attempts, your subscription will be suspended, and remaining benefits will be paused. Appointments already used will be charged at the full non-subscriber rate (£250 per appointment).
Unresolved payments beyond 30 days may result in a permanent ban from booking any future appointments at MCR Braids.

FAQ's
Can I choose medium-sized braids instead of SMedium on the subscription plan?
Yes, you can opt for medium-sized braids, but the cost will remain the same as the smedium braid price included in your subscription.
Are small braids available on the subscription plan?Unfortunately, small braids are not available under the subscription plan. These can only be booked separately at their standard price.
What happens if I miss an appointment?
If you cancel or miss an appointment without rescheduling within the cancellation policy timeframe, it will count as one of your allocated appointments.
Can I roll over unused appointments into the next year?
Appointments cannot roll over into the next year. All appointments must be used within the 12-month subscription period.
What happens if I don’t use all my appointments within the year?
Any unused appointments will expire at the end of your 12-month membership. Unfortunately, they cannot be rolled over into the next year, as we allocate time specifically for your appointments within the subscription year.
How do I pay for add-ons like goddess or French curls?
Add-ons are not included in the subscription plan and must be paid for at online checkout or on the day of your appointment.
Can I share my membership with someone else?
Yes you can share your membership with up to 3 family members or friends. This means they can use one or more appointments on your balance. This is ideal for gifting a loved one a braid appointment.
What if I decide to cancel my subscription?
If you wish to cancel your subscription, you will need to notify us via email at least 30 days in advance. Refunds will not be provided for previous months, but you will have access to remaining appointments equivalent to what you’ve paid so far. If you haven’t paid enough to cover an appointment, but you Still had an appointment, then we would send you an invoice of the difference.
Could you tell me more about the gift?
The gift will be a high-quality gesture of our appreciation. It could include premium hair care products, exclusive discounts, or even an upgrade to your service package.
The gift will be presented to all members who have completed a full 12 months on the membership. You will be notified with details closer to the time.
We’ll announce the details of the gift closer to the end of your 12-month membership. Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated and ensure it’s something you’ll love!
How will I book the appointments throughout the year?
Members get access to the full year’s calendar, allowing you to book all your appointments upfront. Alternatively, you can choose to book your appointments as we release availability every two months (e.g., January and February appointments are released in December). We’ll also send check-in emails every two months to confirm if your pre-booked dates still work before releasing availability to the public.
Will they NEED to be booked within the precise 2-month period?
No, your appointments don’t need to be booked in a specific two-month or four-month period. You can use your appointments any time within the 12 months of your membership, giving you the flexibility to fit them around your schedule. However, all unused appointments will expire at the end of your membership year, so we recommend planning accordingly to make the most of your benefits.
Can I change my payment date?
We’re happy to adjust your payment date to better suit your needs! Just let us know at least 7 days before your next payment by contacting us via email, and we’ll sort it out for you. Payment date changes can only be made once per billing cycle, so make sure it’s the best fit for your schedule.
