At MCR Braids, we are committed to providing a premium and flexible experience for our valued members. Our Membership 2.0 offers more appointments, increased flexibility, and a wider range of styling options while maintaining our focus on natural hair health.

Membership Overview
By subscribing to MCR Braids Membership, you commit to a 12-month plan with access to priority booking, discounted appointments, and exclusive styling options.
Membership Tiers
- Standard Membership – £55/month for 6 appointments per year
- Plus Membership – £75/month for 8 appointments per year
- Pro Membership – £105/month for 12 appointments per year

New Member Trial
Interested in trying the membership before committing? We offer a £50 trial option, which acts as a deposit towards your style or first membership payment.
How It Works:
- Add your preferred membership to your cart, and become a member for £50 using code NEWMEMBER50 at checkout.
- On the day of your appointment, you decide whether to proceed with the membership.
- If you sign up, you don’t pay again until the next month (based on your selected membership).
- If you decide not to continue, you simply pay the remaining balance for your service (you'll get 25% off too if its your first appointment with us).
- If the service costs less than £50, we will refund you the difference.
Payment Terms & Membership Cancellation
💳 Automatic Cancellation for Failed Payments
- If a payment fails once, your membership will automatically cancel. This is due to an automatic setting in our system that is out of our control.
- Please get in touch immediately to manually pay or update your card details.
- If your membership payment remains unpaid for more than 7 days, a £10 late fee will be charged every dayuntil the balance is cleared.
- If this happens more than 3 times, we may reconsider your eligibility for membership.
💳 Early Membership Cancellation
- While we advise committing to the full 12 months, you can cancel anytime. However, you must pay in full any difference between what you’ve already paid on your membership and the full price of the appointments you’ve had so far. This will be charged to the card on file.
- If you fail to pay this amount, you will be banned as a client.
- You can still book as a non-member after cancellation, provided any outstanding balance has been settled.
Appointment Booking & Usage
- Members receive priority booking with full access to 12 months in the future from the month you started your membership.
- Missed appointments without 48 hours’ notice will be deducted from your balance (remaining appointments left).
- Unused appointments cannot be rolled over past your 12-month term.
- You may gift unused appointments to a friend or family member before your renewal date.
Cancellations, Downgrades & Refunds
Membership Downgrades
- Downgrades are only permitted for members who joined between 1st December 2024 and 25th February 2025 (Version 1.0 members).
- These members may downgrade between 26th February 2025 and 31st March 2025.
- After this period, downgrades will only be allowed at the end of your 12-month term, and you must provide at least 30 days' notice before your renewal date.
Refunds
- If you cancel before completing your 12-month term, you must pay in full for any used appointments.
- If you haven't used any appointments, you may use your paid balance towards a service instead of a refund.
- If you are dissatisfied or we were at fault, refunds and compensation will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the situation, we may:

By enrolling in MCR Braids Membership 2.0, you acknowledge and accept the terms outlined in this policy. MCR Braids reserves the right to adjust the policy with prior notice.
By signing up for the MCR Braids Membership 2.0, you agree to our policy, including all payment terms. If your outstanding balance remains unpaid, we reserve the right to take further action, which may include:
- Permanent cancellation of your membership
- Banning you from future bookings
- Legal recovery of unpaid balances

FAQ's
1. How does the MCR Braids membership work?
The membership gives you priority booking, discounted services, and exclusive styling options for 12 months. You pay a fixed monthly fee based on your chosen tier, and you can use your included appointments throughout the year.
2. Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Yes, but if you cancel early, you must pay the full difference between what you have paid as a member and the full non-member price of the appointments you have used. This amount will be charged to the card on file.
For example:
- You have been a Standard Member (£55/month) for 3 months (£165 paid in total).
- You used 3 appointments, but the non-member price is £250 per appointment (£750 total).
- The difference is £585, which will be charged to your card upon cancellation.
3. What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails once, your membership will automatically cancel due to a system setting that we cannot override. You must contact us immediately to manually pay or update your card details.
- If you do not pay within 7 days, a £10 late fee will be charged every day until the balance is cleared.
- If this happens more than 3 times, we may reconsider your eligibility as a member.
- If you owe money and fail to pay, you will be banned from booking any future appointments.
4. Can I downgrade my membership?
Downgrades are only available for members who joined between 1st December 2024 – 25th February 2025 (Version 1.0 members). These members can downgrade between 26th February – 31st March 2025.
After this, downgrades are only allowed at the end of your 12-month term with 30 days’ notice.
5. Can I upgrade my membership?
Yes! You can upgrade at any time, and the cost will be prorated accordingly.
6. Can I roll over unused appointments to the next year?
No, unused appointments do not roll over once your subscription year ends. However, you can gift your unused appointments to a friend or family member before your renewal date.
7. How do I book my appointments?
You can book your appointments through our online booking system, and as a member, you get priority access to our calendar up to 12 months in advance.
8. What happens if I miss an appointment?
If you do not give 48 hours' notice, your appointment will still be deducted from your balance. We recommend rescheduling in advance if needed.
9. Can I share my membership with someone else?
Yes you can share your membership with up to 3 friend/family members by adding them on to your membership. Payment must come from one account and you must know the people you are sharing with.

Yes, as long as you do not have any unpaid balances. If you failed to pay the full amount owed upon cancellation, you will be banned from future bookings.
17. What if I am unhappy with my service or have a complaint?
If you are dissatisfied with your appointment or feel we were at fault, refunds and compensation will be handled on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the situation, we may:
- Offer a discount on your next membership fee
- Refund your membership fee for the current month
